TaxiChatter is a Dutch platform where travellers can instantly calculate a taxi fare and request a ride via our AI taxibot Chatr. We are part of the MatchMyDriver ecosystem and focus entirely on connecting travellers with reliable, certified taxi drivers, without hidden costs.
Why was TaxiChatter founded?
The taxi market has long been dominated by international platforms that charge high commissions and offer little transparency to both drivers and customers. David Mohan, a professional driver himself and founder of MatchMyDriver, saw the need for a fairer alternative. TaxiChatter was founded in 2025 as the customer-facing part of that alternative: a platform where travellers get a fair price in two minutes, and drivers keep their full earnings.

MatchMyDriver is the platform where rides are actually fulfilled: drivers register there, receive ride requests directly from customers, and never pay commission. The founder: David Mohan
David Mohan has more than 25 years of experience in transport, logistics and customer service. He has been active as a professional driver since 2018, with certifications for both taxi and bus transport (Taxi Driver Diploma, OIBC bus driver training, ADR certification). His vision is simple: drivers deserve freedom and a fair income, travellers deserve clarity about what a ride costs.

MatchMyDriver will never charge commission on rides that drivers have obtained through the platform. Drivers keep their full earnings. Travellers pay what Chatr calculates, no more, no less.
